Alan Park trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and performed professionally on stage, TV and Film for over ten years.
He played Roy Banks in the ITV Drama ‘DCI Banks’ and has also featured in Emmerdale. On stage he played Jack in Pilot Theatre’s ‘Lord of The Flies’ at York Theatre Royal and on tour. He also starred in the West End stage adaptations of children’s favourites ‘Room on the Broom’ and ‘The Gruffalo’ .
Since moving back north, Alan has enjoyed being part of the community theatre in York, mounting the one man show ‘Every Brilliant Thing’ and most recently directing York Settlement Player’s ‘Government Inspector’. He is passionate about the brilliant things that can happen when a group of people from any background come together and allow themselves to perform and play games.
Alan is the chair of Theatre@41 where he can frequently be found in the loft fixing holes in the roof.
